Searching
by Keyword:
A
Keyword is a word or phrase that describes the service you are seeking
(i.e. Food
Pantries).
The keyword is used to search
for services or programs. To find resources available in your area,
enter a
service term/program name with or without quotation marks in the
“Keyword” field. Search result using quotation marks will display resources containing all words specified in the quotation. For example when searching by “Rent Payment”, search result will include only resources contains “rent payment” instead “rent” or “payment”. Enter the
zip code of the person needing the service and /or enter the county
name in the
“Area Served”. field System
will
display
results based on the search criteria entered.
Searching
by
Agency Name
Type
one or more of the words of an agency name,
under “Agency Name” field (for example, if you are
looking
for American Red
Cross , you can search the words “red” and
“cross” to see what services they
offer). Enter the zip code of the person needing the service and/or
enter the county
name in the “Area Served” field. System will display
results based
on the search
criteria entered.
In
the search, you can use Keyword
or Agency Name, but not both
