Heating Equipment Repair/Replacement HEAP: November 4, 2019-September 30, 2020
Air Conditioning: May 1, 2020-August 31, 2020
Clean and Tune Benefit: November 4, 2019-September 30, 2020

Assists low-income households pay their heating energy bills and other related services during winter months.


January 3, 2017 - March 15, 2017
No notices, Emergency benefit payments, or guarantee of Emergency benefits may be issued before January 3, 2017. This includes ten-day hold requests from utility companies based on anticipated Emergency HEAP payments. Heating emergencies prior to January 3 must be resolved with Regular benefits. Households with heat- related emergencies must be referred to other programs or make payment arrangements with utility companies as appropriate.

HEATING EQUIPMENT & REPAIR (HERR)
Replacement maximum $6,500 (once in 10 years). Repair maximum $3,000 per HERR season.

COOLING ASSISTANCE COMPONENT
Provides air conditioners for income-eligible individuals who suffer from a medical condition exacerbated by extreme heat.
