General Information
Description of ServiceThrough an on-site nature center with plants and animals, it provides an opportunity for adults and children with Cerebral Palsy or developmental disabilities to explore their environment. The center has a variety of plants, dogs, turtles and snakes which provides a unique experience to teach individuals about nature. This therapeutic tool has been beneficial in increasing attention and concentration, enhancing relaxation, building self-esteem, teaching responsibility from caring for the animals, and understanding nature and the diversity of life.
