General Information
Description of ServiceThe New York State Office for the Aging has contracted with ARCNENY to establish and administer a Long Term Care Ombudsman Program. A Long Term Care Ombudsman works on behalf of a resident of a nursing home or adult care facility to resolve complaints. This service is available in Albany, Montgomery, Schenectady and Washington Counties through the American Red Cross. It is available through other agencies in other counties.
