General Information
Description of ServiceCommunity Education provides effective, comprehensive substance abuse prevention education programs for schools, community groups and substance abuse professionals. The ACCA Community Education Program delivers an array of programs that target students ranging in age from 4 to 21. Most programs consist of nine 45-minute sessions, but programs can be tailored to fit the needs of each location and population.

Currently, the literacy based self-esteem building substance abuse prevention program, AN APPLE A DAY (AAAD), reaches over 17,000 children ranging in age from 4-12 annually. Other school based self-esteem building substance abuse prevention programs include GROW GIRL!, BOYS ONLY!, and Project Alert.
