    PRIDE FOR YOUTH/COUNSELING PROGRAMProvides short-term counseling to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer adolescents. Youth may be seen for up to one year free of charge. Social work staff specialize in coming out issues, adolescent depression, and family mediation. Clientele is limited to youth between the ages of 12 to 30. Youth must be free of psychotic symptamology or be under the care of a psychiatrist if they have psychiatric diagnosis. Preference is given to youth in Nassau and Western Suffolk, although youth will be seen from surrounding areas as the workers' caseload permit. Parental consent is not required.     Support Group ServicesTrust is a weekly, open psycho-educational group for high school students. It provides a safe, structured setting in which youth can discuss issues related to sexual orientation.
